I would recommend this company. I worked with Anthony & his staff. They made my past experience & this new loan I took out seamless & not complicated. They are professional & polite to deal with anytime you try to contact them. Their loans are low & the monthly charge is very affordable to handle.

Do not do business with these people. Are they nice? Yes. Do they work with you? Yes. However, in the long term, you don’t want to get stuck with a loan like this. They know your car is not gonna be worth anything even by the time you’ve gotten through the middle of the term and will just make up for the loss by suing you. I’m halfway through the term of the loan but I’ve only paid about 2.5 Grand of principal. There’s still $12,000 to go and I only have two more years. I don’t see how that’s possible when I’ve paid the monthly dues each month. I got behind one month A year and an A year and half ago and I guess they piled on all this extra interest. Now I’m stuck with a car with the bad transmission, I can surrender it, but they only give me $1000. Mind you this was a $14000 purchase price in 2022…

As a consumer who recently navigated the process of settling an auto insurance claim with western American, I feel compelled to share my experience, which unfortunately was marked by frustration and disappointment.

My encounter with western American began after an auto accident, where I sought coverage through gap insurance. Initially, I was relieved to find that the company would cover the costs associated with the vehicle. However, what ensued left me questioning the integrity of their online payment system and the transparency of their communication.

Despite diligently making payments online, I found myself continuously blindsided by additional charges and undisclosed balances. What seemed like the final payment turned out to be just another chapter in a saga of hidden fees and misleading information.

In my most recent encounter, I logged in to settle what I believed to be my last payment, only to discover an unexpected balance of $189. This discrepancy was not communicated to me during my previous call with their customer service team, where I was assured that only a nominal interest charge remained.

This lack of transparency is not only deceptive but also undermines the trust between consumers and the company. As a customer, I expect clarity and honesty in financial transactions, especially when dealing with insurance claims, where transparency is paramount.

Ultimately, my experience with western American has left me disillusioned and wary of their online payment system. I urge potential customers to exercise caution and thoroughly scrutinize any financial dealings with the company, particularly when it comes to online payments.

In conclusion, western American must address these issues promptly and take proactive measures to ensure the accuracy and transparency of their online payment processes. Failure to do so risks further eroding consumer trust and tarnishing the reputation of the company.

I am updating my response to this place from them selling me a lemon 2013 Kia soul that had a hefty price tag on keeping it somewhat capable of daily use. This company knew the car was no good selling it at Peoria Kia Dealership. So recently this company had a random lady come to my knew house address after I didn’t logins them my new address or permission to come to new house. It’s bad they harass you and invade your privacy on top of that add extra fees for a car they collected and have in their possession. Now I have to do extra stuff to fight this Justice Branch Summons they sent me to try and hustle and blackmail me out of 8 grand . Please don’t use this company they act like hamsters in their practices and their lawyer a joke filing this motion.

Life is hard as it is but since the end of 2019 until today when I paid off my vehicle through Western American they have always had my back. They went above what any other loan company has ever done for me and I’m grateful. I can’t express how amazing this group of agents are and how they have worked with me for a total of 4.5 years, but it is finally all said and done thanks to their compassion. If you’re with them and you’re having issues call them, keep in touch with them & don’t go silent.

The ladies at the office are wonderful. Each time I call in they are so helpful and make me feel such a sigh of relief. I’ve had some financial difficulties lately because of my mental health and they have worked with me each time. I’m grateful this company took my loan out and that I have them. You guys are awesome!

Hardest to do business with. Their hours are unfavorable. Communication is lacking. Every time I have spoken with someone, they do not follow through. Plus, they have false branding and advertising on their website. It clearly showcases American Express as a processing option, but they do not accept. Plus, I believe that is copyright infringement when they showcase an American Express card as an option to pay. Wonder why they haven’t been sued? Once I paid off my loan, they took forever to validate they received the funds and provided me false information, twice. First, they stated they would follow-up with me when payment was received, which never happened. And when I called to confirm receipt of the payment they informed me that I would receive my paid in full letter within two weeks, after the two weeks, I called & was then informed that they do not send the paid in full letter until after two weeks. This organization is a joke. I can’t wait to never deal with them again.
