I provided a loan to someone who died. Red Rock said he did not pay his association fees, even though I have a ledger of the payments made. They said payments were missed, but won't tell me which ones. I have to pay over $250 to find out which payments they said were missed.

So uncooperative. They lie to you. Hang up on you when they won't explain their mistakes. They call your mortgage co, get paid twice, chg $900 in fees.

Unbelievably damaging and alarmingly sinister. After possibly sending a few letters, the outcome was an astonishing and rapid escalation of charges by a staggering $2,000 in just a week's time. Upon requesting a breakdown of the charges, they flatly denied providing any details and said it’s a processing fee. Adding to the distress, they even proceeded to place a lien on my property within a mere two-week span.

If this doesn't raise red flags indicative of a scam, it's hard to fathom what would!

This place cannot get it together. We neglected to pay our HOA fees, our bad. Got sent to this collections agency. We paid the amount in full. Have the copy of the cashed check from the bank, but they never notified our HOA. Now they are trying to put our home in an escrow account because they for some unfathomable reason cannot speak to my HOA to straighten it out.

Excessively and exceptionally malicious. They can mail a few letters that you may not even get and they don't bother to pay for reciever confirmation and then they can fine you a thousand dollars and then put a lien on your home within the span of about 1 month.

I think if there was a debt company that didn't do all of the questionable things in the world to get money I'd be surprised but this one impressed me on their efficiency to harm people to make money.

They drafted a lien on my home while I am working overseas. They neglected to find me or my property manager but were successful in finding my mortgage company. They charged $2300 to collect a $200 debt because I overlooked one $100 HOA fee . Fortunately my mortgage company covered their fees in order to save my home and keep it out of for closure while I am stationed away from home, but I don't think they did a good enough job in notifying me. I never recieved a lien notice because they sent it to my tenants. They probably trashed it because it was not for them and are under no obligation to send me mail. The damages are done for me, but I feel the fees incurred for their service is over the top. It is a shame they did not reach out to my mortgage company who knows where I am as well as my property manager. The HOA had been sent multiple time my overseas mailing address. My HOA has been advised of how they treat the homeowners and I am going to recommend a new collections service that has better investigation skills.

As everyone has said, this collection agency is terrible. On o four properties had the HOA change management companies, claims they mail letters to the owners, residents, and property management, but how can three individual people not received any of the "numerous" notices they claim they received. They refused to talk to property management company even though this company had been managing this property for 6-7 years until a PMA was MAILED to them. They do not have an email or a fax and would not give anything in writing to confirm they received it. How suspicious is that. They would not release any account statements to OWNERS as they can not verify in person the owner is the owner. This company absolutely refuses to acknowledge that they probably did not mail anything out and are just claiming they did. This is the same issue the other reviewer stated having as well...

Red Rock Financial and First Residential Service are affiliated companies. Both of them are unethical entities.
I am so sorry for the employees who work for those company management. Because baggers or homeless persons have way more integrity than those who work at Red Rock and First Residential.
Red Rock Financial Services are crooks and they rake money out of the homeowners unethically.
