Warning: Think Twice Before Engaging with Integrated Financial Services

If you value your time and peace of mind, I strongly advise against using Integrated Financial Services. Here's a rundown of my disheartening experience:

I submitted all required documents for our tax filings 27 days ahead of the deadline, expecting a straightforward process. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of frustrating attempts to get any form of acknowledgment or response from the company. Communication was virtually non-existent unless initiated by me, and even then, it was minimal and unhelpful.

A scheduled call to discuss our situation was egregiously missed by their team. It wasn't until after a 30-minute wait and a follow-up email from me that I finally received a call back. This lack of punctuality and professionalism was deeply concerning.

Despite expressing my dissatisfaction and receiving an apology during our brief interaction, the follow-up remained as disappointing as the initial contact. Further emails from my side were met with silence, even as the tax filing deadline loomed.

As of today, the final day for tax submissions, I have yet to receive any response. This negligence has forced us to seek services elsewhere at the eleventh hour, adding unnecessary stress and frustration to our tax season. And this is the first time in 10+ years I ever had to file a tax extension.

Please consider this a cautionary tale about Integrated Financial Services. Their lack of professionalism and accountability can not only disrupt your financial management but also leave you scrambling to meet important deadlines. There are many other firms out there that respect their clients and understand the importance of timely and effective communication.

Fantastic and totally informed tax office that I've been using since 1997 each and every year without fail. I work in media and sometimes freelance and they're great about claiming my deductions, so I always get my rightful refund. Went to H&R block once a few years ago to save a little money on the fee but they had me OWING money, so I ran straight back to my usual accountant at IFS and he got me a REFUND that year again. I used IFS when I was working overseas and I'm still using them now that I live in Washington D.C. Can't recommend this office enough....

Matt, Tom and the whole IFS team (yes, I'm on a first name basis with the owners, and most of the staff, that's the kind of business they run), are always there for me, save and make me $$$$. Offer excellent advise and ideas for investing what money I have, and make sure my tax filings are on time and accurate. And I'm not even in their millionaire club, they care about the 99% just as much as the 1%ers. I've been with them for, at least, 15 years after a friend referred them to me. We continue to suggest their services to all our friends. You can't go wrong with this company!

I went to see Mr. Matt Carbone on a referral from friends who work at Viacom and Nickelodeon. Having some freelance background and now employed full time, Mr. Carbone aka the Magic Man has been my go to guy for a couple of years now. His knowledge and professionalism is nothing to blink at. You get what you pay for with IFS.
