This credit union has been a lifeline for me. 100%! My personal life and business are flourishing because of my relationship with Florida Credit Union. Claudette in their member aervices department is on point every time. Highly recommend ditching the FDIC banks and join NCUA and Florida Credit Union.

I paid off an auto loan through this lender and my business with them was very good. However, when my husband and I applied for a home equity loan, I was disappointed with the customer service. I didn't hear from a loan officer for 2 weeks until I made a call inquiring. Then, after submitting paperwork and ultimately being denied, I didn't receive a notice or reason for denial until I reached out two separate times. I was advised restructuring the loan could possibly lead to approval but it was not guaranteed. This was fine with me, but again, I didn't hear from my officer and I had to reach out another 2 times. All of our calls and voicemails were avoided by our loan officer. Maybe he treats other clients better but this lender made us feel like a burden and I have to say I'm disappointed in the quality of service.

FCU used to be a great company that helped customers. Not anymore. Recently (within the past 2 years) they have really went downhill. I had several loans in the past (one I still do) and pay 100% on time. Never missed a single payment in over 3 years of banking with them. Yet, they treat me horribly. If I ask for anything at all, they turn me down. FCU used to be like a hometown bank. Now it’s crap show with rude people.

Aalaiyah was so very helpful to me today in chat. We had a lot of damage from Hurricane Helene and weren't able to satisfy our loan payments for the month. Aalaiyah stayed on chat with me and walked me through the complete process of getting a waiver for our October payments. What a pleasure and what a relief! In general, I love Florida Credit Union and banking locally.

Unfortunately, I had to make a trip to my local branch today because of a fraudulent charge that appeared on my account this morning. I needed to replace my debit card. However, my experience today at the Wildwood Branch was phenomenal! I walked in, signed in to member services and had not been seated for more than 20 seconds before I was called back. Siara and her trainee were friendly and helpful and were able to have my card printed immediately and I was out the door within 10 minutes! Great customer service and if I need to return to a branch, I definitely know where I'll be going!
