I have no clue what the 1 star review is about but I personally find no backing behind a person that belittles a person, but says literally nothing to back what they are saying.
I have been going to Ernie for 4 years for my income taxes and have had nothing but a pleasant experience. He is fairly priced and always fills out all my paperwork in a timely manner. His wife is literally one of the most pleasant people I’ve dealt with. Last month when I was there, I stayed an extra 10 minutes just talking with her. I enjoy everybody I’ve encountered when going into E.B Kozacek.

Ernie has been preparing my income tax returns for approximately 5-6 years. He is knowledgeable, efficient, timely and always takes the time to answer any questions I may have. The staff is very friendly and professional. I have referred many people to Ernie and they all have good things to say about Ernie and his company.

We worked with Ernie to do our company accounting and taxes for about two years. Unfortunately, we had a consistent issue of wrong entries and mistakes on our financial statements and taxes during that time. For example, he overreported our net income by 6X. When we pointed out errors, he overreacted and told us to find another accountant and never corrected the financial statements we paid for. His wife was extremely rude as well. Their behavior is disappointing, unprofessional, and we would not recommend working with them.

While Ernie himself is a relatively nice and cordial individual, he is beyond disorganized and has no concept of communication or deadlines. To boot, his wife (and the person you unfortunately have to deal with for everything, because Ernie has no idea what is going on) is the the most amazing example you will ever find of a person who was scraped from the sludge at the bottom of the customer service barrel.

I pity any business that works with this firm!
