This institution my wife has been with for over 25 years. Which prior to us getting together I had my own account with another with another institution.However we have now made her account a joint together. The customer representatives professionalism to integrity is like flipping a coin. We have had our issues here and there with our account. This has been recently since my health issues. So I have from home and as well not 40 hrs.
Instead of a representative reaching out to us since have no problem sharing their negativity with us about what's going on with our account. No one has even reach out to see if there is anything they could do to assist us in these times. Instead they have just sat back and watch us fall farther behind.
We have had to made a mistakes and we have accepted them.So we have had to reach out to other loan companies and we have been approved here and there to try and catch up where we should have been able to just go right our own institution. Since we have a personal loan limit to 5,000 and we have it under a 1,000 at this time. We should have been offered to get personal loan of $5,000 to be able to pay off the existing loan personal loan free and clear and start over again like we have before. So now we have individual loans with higher rates of interests to make harder on us. Where we could have 1 with lower interest. Gotta love the professionalism and care. Since we have for over 7 years had our personal loan fluxuate and have appreciated in the past. Which they also receive there payments auto pay every other week. We had our hiccups however they have always received there money. We have fallen behind on our car and personal loan. This is the main reason we were looking for other avenues to catch up on them. No assistance nor has any one reach out to see what is going on with us from them. I had mentioned to my wife they spelled our last name in correct knowing they refuse it. We called the loan company and made them aware. Instead next day they shut our account down without any communication no email nothing. When my wife contacted them they said fraud. How when I have been refused when my company spelled my name wrong or couldn't read correctly when I could and said what has on check.
This was a Thursday Aug 1st we have reach out numerous times with no clarity or additional information now this being Monday 5th. We still have no answers with a closed account. Which my wife had her deferred comp transferred in last Friday 2nd and had to deffer bill payments and pay additional late fees. Chris Pena who is suppose to be the VP of the loan department. Has not made any contact with neither my wife or I. Left messages with ZERO effort or response. Even up till this point another representative when my wife and I making her aware of the differed transfer was gonna happen. This is what was said in short. Well by the time you clear things up you have nothing left or in the negative! I tried and did kept my composure and responded. We know what we owe on the car and personal loan to catch up. As well the monies for NSF and there should be clearly money still left in the account. Then stated towards my wife. Well we are not the ones who compromised your account? OK well explain the fraud? Yes I clearly see to reject the check deposit is justifiable since our last name spelled however wrong. But where still is the fraud?
Still nothing resolved this is complete unprofessionalism common courtesy. I am a cordial and patient person. However this is insulating and so aggravating.

There is something wrong with this credit union.. I opened a savings account 3 weeks ago at the first impression It
felt ok! However; If you apply for a credit card at this credit union
think again! They do the most absurd investigation they would even ask you to bring your W2 to the branch and pay stubs they make you feel very uncomfortable is like you are begging for credit.. I have a good credit! And I did not needed to go through this process I really regret that I opened an account with them I would probably come by and close that account in the next few weeks!

I called connect credit union and the representative that answered was very disrespectful. His name is Jasen Mitzenmacher. I explained to the rep that the atm did not give me the funds I attempted to withdraw even though it is reflected on my online banking as a debit. I verified myself, the amount, the location of the atm. I voluntarily gave the number for customer service on the atm who I spoke to the night before when this mishap took place. The representative wanted to know the company name. I told the agent I did not have it. He then replied “You did not hear the company’s name when you called?” I explained to the rep that I volunteered to give the number to assist in the process. The bank would be able to resolve the matter not only from their resources (I am not the first person this happened to I’m sure) and the information I provided. The representative replied, “I am not doing this with you and placed me on hold.” When he returned to the line he said nothing and I had to say “hello”. I told him that I was recording the call ( my partner was actually) and writing a review the same time. He then proceeded to tell me the course of action. I would be sent a form via email (docusign) and then return it so they can work on it. Thank asked the rep, “What is the estimated time frame in these instances?” And s it 30, 45, 60 or 90 days. The rep kept repeating for me to complete the form. I had to explain that banking institutions usually provide that information to the customer. After two attempts of trying to get that information. He placed me on hold and the returned to the line. He said a temporary credit would be issued in 24 hours and the issue is resolved resolved typically in 60 days.
Now why did I have to pull teeth to get a response. Why did I have to be disrespected. Is the population count so low of individuals who want to work that we as customers have accept this reps rudeness. He is not an exec and even then, everyone is replaceable. For this rep to be comfortable on a so called recorded line of the bank to speak to a customer in this manner, it clearly shows this was not his first time.
I will be reporting this to the powers that be to ensure he or any other rep does not do this again. I have the time and I have the means. This is unacceptable!

I would not recommend an account at this bank. First, all of the employees are extremely polite and pleasant so let me be clear that is not the issue. However, the bank procedures are extremely slow, requiring multiple phone calls for simple transactions, and the representatives are always offering other products for sale unrelated to the product you're interested in. On top of the inconvenient amount of time it simply takes to open an account and get a loan quote at this bank, rates are a point higher than other local credit unions! Lastly, I closed the account within two months since I had no use for the account and they charged an early termination fee. I essentially paid to have my time wasted. I went to another credit union, opened an account in minutes online, and with one fast phone call and uploading documents I re-financed my auto loan at a great rate.

I’ve been a member since the 90’s. The customer service from the call center is extremely unprofessional and rude. A representative by the name of Jason has been rude and unprofessional for the past couple of months to my father. Every month my father transfers funds to my account to pay his monthly bills. This has been an ongoing process for years. He’s never had an issue until recently dealing with Jason. When my father gives him the account number he tells him every time the account can’t be found. When asked if he could speak to someone else he always tells him no. Instead of trying to fix the issue he just hangs up. I was made aware of it and I called and spoke with someone and explained the issue. She knew right away why he was unable to locate the account. Jason was very rude and unwilling to ask for help to resolve the issue. My father is older and doesn’t like confrontation so he would never request to speak to a higher person. This should not have kept happening. Jason needs to be retrained on resolving issues and asking for help when you’re unsure of the situation. I will never allow him to assist me when I call the call center. I’ll hang up like he does.

Very bad customer service. These people need to know that persons who do business at this Credit Union have a choice. I know you need to put systems in place to protect your workers, but you also need to know how to communicate these changes in a decent manner. I went to the credit union today and was told to step outside because I do not have a mask on. All the employees had on a mask and there is a line before the counter where customers should not go beyond. There was no sign about wearing a mask on the inner door that I used to enter. The male at the front asked me if I had the transaction written up. I said yes and he took it from me to process. (thank you for making the deposit) I find the front staff very condescending and rude. Ruth was one of the best employees they hired but she left. This credit union needs to do something about customer service as I know there are persons who do not do business with them because of poor customer service.

I saw a 89.99 charge by Apple on my master card for an app i never bought ,and i dont even have an Iphone ,have Android
Call connect credit to dispute the charge.
They refused claiming it over 3 month
Yesterday was 91 days. What credit company will turn thier back on a card holder,and let Apple screw me for 89 99 for app i never bought.had many loans with connect credit and my SS direct deposit
Stopping using thier credit card. Once i pay off my $ 8000.00 balance,they are history....as per answer and advice....and i quote....MasterCard network only accepts disputes within the first 90 days of seeing the charges. .....I only saw the charge yesterday and called right away.
I know credit cards companies that will go back a year. Since you send no statements and its hard to follow uo.capital one ,Us bank and few others will send a text everytime a charge goes through on my card. I understand your bank is behind on technology,since it took years before you had an app,and still evertime i have to make a payment i have to call it in.very disappointed because i like the staff ,but i cant see a charge for $ 89.99 that i didnt ok been treated by you as a matter 😢 of fact..shame
