Although my wait was long, my representative was knowledgeable and helpful. Andres was able to understand my needs and ensure that I was satisfied upon leaving. He was personable and my process was a two step process. While he assisted with step one, he also notified the teller of how to assist me with step two and ensured that the teller processed everything correctly.

The begining of this experience was horrible. I received an alert from brightstar Fraud Dept. A text saying. There was fraud on my debit card. Then a phone call that was very official! I hung up and called the fraud dept myself. This issue was straightened out. Picture were taken of the text. Alexis handled changing my accounts and restoring confidence to me. It was terrifying. Dont give any information just hang up and call into the bank.

I went to open a business account several months ago with an open mind and positive expectations. I thought that things were getting off to a good start but was quickly proven wrong. The people at the local branch are friendly but there is something else going on that is out of their control. This credit union has a lot of opportunity for improvement. It has been as if there are decision makers higher in the organization setting BSCU up to fail. One problem is with their customer service call back process. I waited in a quiet place for 20 minutes to speak with a rep only to give up and use their call back service. Two hours later someone calls when I am in the field (noisy location) giving contractors direction on a project. I had none of my documents with me to discuss the issue. Next came the debit card issue where my request for the card was caught in limbo so I had to request it again and received it two months after opening the account. I had to play phone tag again to get this issue resolved. Next came the issue with Bill Pay. I set up two companies to pay and used the process several times successfully and then all of a sudden could not use it. I had to play the customer service phone tag once more, wait for a call back again which is total nonsense. I thought that the issue would be resolved by the end of the day, and I would be able pay the water bill the following day. The problem was not resolved so I decided to close my accounts and move to another bank. Whether it's a business relationship or personal relationship, when things start off this bad it's time to move on. It's been a little over a week now since I moved to a new bank. I have my new debit card, new checks came in three days ago and bill pay has been set up properly. 40 years ago I was a member of Broward Schools Credit Union and they seemed to run a tight ship. Something has changed and it is not for the better.

My first experience at Brightstar Credit Union was great. The building was nice and the employees are very welcoming. Anthony Jose Quinones assisted me with getting the information I needed. He was very helpful, provided me with resources and explain/answered the questions I had. Overall, I had a great experience. 10/10 recommend this branch!

I recently visited this branch while accompanying a friend, and I was so impressed by the experience! from the moment we walked in the branch manager (teller told us he was the branch manager after the fact) he warmly welcomed us and took the times to answet all our questions, the entire team was courteos and increíble efficient Even though the place was busy and with many people in line. I did not go in planning to Open an account bit after learning more about the benefits off banking with a credit union. I'm definitely coming back to Open one myself. The fadt and friendly
