The biggest POS scam company I've ever dealt with. I own an investment property and the homeowners association was acquired by a new company who decided to send everyone a bill. My tenants didn't inform me of any bill they received in the mail and I never received a notice. The homeowners association turned over the bill to this horrible company. The original fee was for $150 and this company has adjusted it to over $500. Their breakdown consists of things like this "Adding to our system: $100", "Mailing a letter: $130", etc. I tried to settle with $200 and they countered by knocking off $17. Absolutely disgusting, nothing but a scam. Horrible company, horrible employees. You can't have any self worth working for a "company" like this.

Never have I come across a more distasteful organization. This company recently put a lien on my house because both them and the HOA are trying to charge me over $8,000 in fees (which I’m sure will be more now) because I was unemployed due to my mental health disability from the military. I recall asking one of their representatives how come the fees were so high and he jokingly stated, “well we have to make our own money too.” What a disgrace of a company. I’m sorry but you will not turn me, a single black woman and also a disabled veteran, into another statistic.

MANAGEMENT COMPANIES and H.O.A. COMMUNITIES BEWARE. Warning, Warning, Warning. DO NOT HIRE ALLIANCE CAS.

We used Alliance CAS for our collections services but were horrified when they got sued for violations of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. They then tried to charge our communities for their legal fees which was completely absurd.

The owner of this firm is VERY preditory.

We also were pummeled with bad reviews as a result of their work. They are way too aggressive and not at all effective. We had better results doing our own collections and our deliquent owners were not raked over the coals.

Feel free to contact me if you need more info.

A few days ago I received a call from a guy named Matt c. Who was so rude I had to hang up on him. He was calling to collect the debt that was 6 years ago for less than $100, and since it was so long ago I couldn't recollect it at the time so I asked him "can you send me an invoice?" And I told him I'm sorry I can't remember I'm not sure because this is something from 2018. This guy straight up told me " no I'm not sending you anything." He was so nasty, disrespectful, unempathetic and unprofessional. He proceeded to yell at me and said "we have been sending you letters for years so you should already know." He spoke to me in such a disgraceful way that it made my chest hurt. If you would have heard the way he spoke to me you would have thought that I owed him money personally. It's people like him that make this world a terrible place.
Then I called back a few days later on the 24th of February 2024 and spoke to this wonderful kind-hearted woman named Maya who was so nice, graceful, sweet, empathetic and professional and I was able to take care of the debt with her. Her demeanor and the way she carried herself during that call allowed me to feel at ease and I was able to finally take care of this debt that I owed to this company. If this company had more people like Maya the rating would be much higher but since you have that nasty person named Matt working there is always going to be at a one star.

This company is a complete scam!!! It should be illegal and shut down!!! They tax you like crazy!!! Charge you $137 for sending a letter out and $300 just to process your payment $75 to transfer your fee…by the time everything is done they take another $500-600 of your money just to settle a $400 bill!!!

Still trying to figure out how to get a response to an email or even a return call. Assuming they choose to ignore you so that the account can remain unsettled and they are able to add more and more fees (that are unearned, ie: a letter fee (for a letter that was NOT EVER received)). What does it take to get a response from this company? Or is that not possible because you can’t charge fees to a paid off account!! And that’s what you rather do, charge more fees vs. settle an account… I can see I’m not the only one with this opinion. Hence the 3.1 stars and a horrible better business bureau rating… 🥴

Dreadful company. Never received any notifications and when FINALLY able to talk to someone by phone was told they aren't required to notify me of anything (how exactly does that work?!). Required to communicate via email but they don't respond to emails unless you inundate them with multiple emails in a short period of time. Tell you to send a proposal for repayment that they'll present to your HOA but don't actually do that - just respond that it wasn't accepted. They add fees to every little thing while doing absolutely nothing. Was repeatedly told there was no online option to pay until I finally was connected to someone who actually sent me the link.

Response to owner: the only communication I received from you was in April - I received nothing via certified mail and said as much to the person I spoke with on the phone. I was then provided an email to Jessica and told email was the only means of communication. She informed me that Alliance is not required to provide any communication to me when I requested copies of everything allegedly sent to me and I never received a response. I sent several payment proposals and received only one response. It wasn't until I recently reached out to the general email that I got a response on my current balance and was provided payment options. I find it curious I can't get timely responses to my emails and yet within a week of my negative review your found time to respond.

I want to preface this with stating that I did, in fact forget to pay my HOA dues and my account was sent to this agency.

Throughout the process of trying to get my account paid off, I left messages with no responses, and sent emails with no responses. I could not get in touch with anyone at this company to let me know what my account balance was so I could set up an arrangement to pay. I have documentation of emails that I sent to them and never heard back on multiple occasions.

One day, I sent an email asking AGAIN for a statement showing what I owed and they finally responded. However, they only responded AFTER they filed a lien on my house. Every month that I didn't hear back, this company added at least $150 worth of fees to my account in addition to the lien that was placed on my house.

It was about a month and a half ago that I finally heard back, learned about my lien and began the process of paying this debt off. When I did speak with Boris on the phone he had a "snide" sort of "told ya so" kind of tone to his voice and I knew I would get nowhere with this company. They were going to keep charging me $150 a month as "service fees" (for my account to just sit there at their office, because they don't call you to tell you that you have a balance due and they don't respond to emails so I'm not sure what the service fee is for), so I had to use my mortgage payment to pay this account off so it wouldn't keep accruing fees. Now I am on a repayment plan with my mortgage company to make sure that I get caught up on my mortgage payments during this pandemic.

I can't tell you enough how I will NEVER forget about my HOA dues again because I'd rather claw my eyes out than have to deal with these people ever again. Good luck if you ever have to deal with them in the future.
